For September, I am attempting to be able to achieve the planche push up. Any advise?

All I can say is good luck, this is a mighty hard skill. If you haven't seen it already, check out this article by a gymnastics coach:

Building an Olympic Body through Bodyweight Conditioning: A Bodyweight Strength Training article from Dragon Door Publications

It shows how to build up to a planche pushup and front lever pullup from scratch.
