What can you tell me about Hwa Rang Do?
I've looked at this art and what I've heard sounds good, but maybe the person was just a good salesmen. Tell me about the art(if you've done it or worked with someone who has done it).
Is it effective? Video clips of the real deal in action (not show demo stuff) would be appreciated.

I have trained in Hwa Rang Do for 4 years while I was in college. I was already a blackbelt in TKD before I began as a white belt in HRD so I advanced fairly quickly. It definitely had a lot more than just punches and kicks I learned from TKD. We also trained in joint locks, throws, grappling, weapons, etc.
