Just wanted to post a hello, I'm from DC and new to both the forum and Martial Arts. I've recently started Krav Maga and I'm digging it totally, though I do wish I had started sooner.
Welcome to the forums. Looking forward to seeing you around the threads.

Welcome to the forums! I've always been atracted to Krav Maga but here in Panama we don't have a teacher but when i was in the US i practiced a bit, it's really good and efficient
Nice to meet you. I think you might be the first member here from DC.
Question: does your Krav Maga school use belts or patches? I have heard of both and was wondering which is more popular.
Thanks for the welcome. My school doesn't use either belts or patches, as we move up through the ranks we get new and differently colored shirts. Our head instructor just earned his black belt and still doesn't wear anything other than a KM Instructor shirt and pair of KM pants or shorts.
