Well I guess I should share my martial arts background. I am currently a green shirt/brown belt in the art of Zanshindo, which is a mixed martial art style that incorporates techniques from boxing, karate, and muy thai for standup as well as Brazilian/Japanese jujitsu, Judo, wrestling, and sambo for clinch and groundwork.
I'm currently the Vice President of a newly founded organization known as the United Zanshindo Association. Zanshindofighter1 is also a leader in this org.
I'm also a former member of the United Fighting Arts Federation headed up by the famous Chuck Norris. I was a 3rd degree red belt in his karate system known as Chun Kuk Do.
I've also dabbled in other styles from time to time such as Judo, wrestling, aikido, and some others. I'm currently working hard to receive my black belt in Zanshindo as I have yet to obtain a Black belt in any of the styles I've been involved with. That is my supreme goal as is any serious martial artist.
Martial Arts is my life and I hope to some day own my own academy. Any advice on these things would be greatly appreciated.
Welcome. You certainly have diverse martial arts training. I would only think this would make you a better overall martial artist. It will be great to hear some of your training stories from all your styles.
