Hello again, clearing some confusion

Sorry for inconvience for any delays with messages. I'm still learning the ways of the forums. And there might be some confusion with the art I study, Ninpo Taijustu. Yes, it is Ninjutsu, but the reason we call it Ninpo Taijustu, because we do not practice or use it in the traditional sense. And we don’t ride horses and archery, but we should anyways. We are always changing, adding other new techniques in reality based situations to adapt to other styles of martial arts to be in a win/win situation and in sense you could call it Combative Taijustu and not Ninjutsu or would that be MMA. Tell me what you think?
We still use weapons of course. But, don't get me wrong, we still keep tradition of Ninjutsu, we still practice the tradition, especially for are tests, so we can show that we do know it, and what I’ve been taught is Ninjutsu.
I myself, have incorporated Qi Qong into Ninjutsu with permission from my sensi, and I have seen amazing things for myself. I,ve study Qi Qong off and on for the last 10 years and it’s helped me a lot. Thank you, for your patience if I do not reply asap or in time

Maybe if your style is always thinking about updating to keep things relevant you should change archery to marksmanship and horseback riding to driving. Actually... then it sounds like I am encouraging a ninja drive-by... so don't do that.

Although you are technically 'mixing martial arts', many people would be hard pressed to call it MMA. As for the distinction between MMA and a 'mix of martial arts', I have no idea. You would have to ask some of our more MMA oriented members.

That is funny about the marksmanship, my Sensi was actually going to incorporate that into the class seeing there are no rules to Ninjustu as in the sense "by any means possible" including disarming and defense.
