Jeet Kune Do, the name itself is based on Chinese characters, so it's categorized in Chinese Martial Arts section for now, but you guys can still continue to discuss whether it belongs there or not.
All the characters aren't chinese though so the name wouldnt attribute to it. It's like Black Ryu: Black is english and Ryu is japanese and its influence is african and japanese but its still american.
it's a martial art founding by jerry bell. A black karate practitioner who studied under mas oyama and other instucters and won numerous tournaments in japan. He was on the cover of a Inside Karate back in the early 90's
