(enter the dragon) Bruce Lee was asked what is the highest level of technique he wanted to achieve? He said," to have no technique ".

jkd was influenced by WC, western boxing and fencing.

as for his workouts, goggle BL and he has a book that describes what type of exercises he did

as for savate, this is according to books and students of his, that he was impressed with their kicking style

Thats all in who you ask

this is just my oppinion,
in discovering your own jkd you may and should seek out other styles to see not only their weekness but also their strengths.
JKD does have a base at which one starts and if you are going to add anything it needs to fit into that structure and it needs to tested.

But, JKD is for self defense not sport.i'm not saying JKD is better than X because no style is complete and all "styles" need to be able to adapt.Irregardless of the "style" it's the individual that makes things work

Make any sense?

This has made sense to be for a long time.

I floated that out there to see your opinion.

May I "PM" you?
