Jeet Kune Do... only few can handle?
I was reading Bruce Lee:JKD, commentaries on the martial way, and it said in there that one of every 1000 people can handle my art. What does anybody think this means? do you believe it? and is this why so many people claim to be a jkd man, but are only few actually great at it?
P.s Not calling it a style or anything

....god i wish i was as smart as these youtubers.... i mean this guy was an MMA coach!
Or maybe he is saying that JKD is his art and it works for him where as everyone else needs to find what works for them. We would still need to see the original source, but that explanation sounds more Bruce Lee-ish

Bruce Lee-ish....
Though it has been said that he had a bit of ego and arrogance
But I dont think it is a "self study" in a practiced sense. In other words, one cannot merely pick up vids and books on it, adhere too its philosophy, and actually lay claim to study it with said info.

sorry i did'nt mean that one literally finds his own path, but you need to find what works best for you through testing it and getting rid of what does'nt work for you. an instructor is necessary but it is up to you to put in the time an effort to accomplish what you set out to
