Bruce Lee doing Wing Chun
IT looks almost like grappling.

Its' chi sao, also called sticky hands. It allows you to attach to your opponent so you know what they are going to do, before they do it. A couple of thoughts that popped in my head as I watched the clip. First, it is amazing at how freaking fast he was. Pretty incredible. Second was the lack of structure and center line defense in some of his training partners, allowing Bruce to use that amazing speed to enter thier space at will.
I wish there were more clips of him doing chin na and throws. The one throw he went to do in this clip was insteresting in the angle that he broke his training partner down. Most people use increments of 45 degrees when they go to throw people. He sank the bridge and then used an off angle.

got that from a bruce lee book lol
its not impossible, he was after all just a human being.
He just went out and said "why be good when i can be great?"
i think if you wanted to have that speed and skill, you should repeat that to yourself everyday.

Bruce Lee actually practiced wing chun because he figured he was playing to his strengths. He had poor eyesight so he learned wing chun, which is a close-quarters art. Joe Hyams claims Bruce told him this in one of his books.

Nice video. A lot of that looked exactly like scenes from Dragon: The Bruce Lee Story.

I agree!
I remember when I was younger we use to do 'pushing hands' which was similar to 'sticky hands'. It helped with the kids and teen classes alot... not sure why we don't do it any more.

I put it in JKD because I wasn't sure if this was classical WC or if it was bruce's version of it.
It's kinda both anyways.

It's Ip Man, Wing Chun all the way, though his base he is using is a bit wider than most Ip Man stylist.
