Korea Jujitsu Belt Wrestling Federation

Ju-Jitsu International Federation(JJIF) affiliated with International World Games and member GAISF(IOC) AGFIS,IWGA, FISPT recognised Korea Jujitsu Federation under Chairman Kim Chang Ho and president Youn In Duk as National Repersantative of JJIF.

Dr Paul G Hoglund President JJIF and member GAISF(IOC) council member approved KJJF as interim repersantative of JJIF on 2008/07/30 at Sweden.The Ju Jitsu International Federation (JJIF) is the international federation, officially organizing the sport of jujitsu in the World. JJIF is member of GAISF (General Association of International Sport Federations), IWGA (International World Games Association) and the FISpT (Federation for Sports for All). JJIF is presently applying for the IOC recognition, and has been on the World Games Programmes both in Lahtis 1997, Akita 2001, Duisburg 2005 and is also an official World Games Sport fort the coming Games 2009 at Kaoshiung, Taiwan. Further jujitsu is by OCA (Olympic Council of Asia) an Olympic Recognized Sport in Asia administrated by our Asian Continental Federation AJJBWF.
Korea Jujitsu Federation is working under Asian JuJitsu Belt Wrestling Federation(AJJBWF).

AJJBWF is the Official/Continental Governing Body for sports of JuJitsu and Beltwrestling through out Asia.
AJJBWF is the Continental forum for Ju-Jitsu and Belt wrestling where the National Official Sport Authorities can debate issues related to the practice of Ju-Jitsu and Belt Wrestling in order to establish Asian Programmes and activities, and in order to elect the institutions, which will implement them.
AJJBWF’s formal scope is to gather Jutsukas from all Countries, and to develop a spirit of friendship and internal assistance among formal Ju-Jitsu Organisations all over Asia affiliated with JJIF(The International Governing Body).
AJJBWF coordinates Continental activities of Ju-Jitsu and Belt Wrestling, establishes technical and organisational rules, organises and controls Asian events including official Continental Championships and Asian Games under the control of OCA.
AJJBWF’s main activities are as follows:
” Board meetings and Annual Congress, where strategies, objectives and management issues of AJJBWF are discussed, decided and ratified.
” Technical sessions; where National Representatives work to improve technical programmes and to establish the rules for Asian championships and Asian Games and also regional games in Asia. Competitions are based on Technical Evaluation, between coupes of athletes from the same team (Duo System), or on Direct Opposition between athletes from different teams (Fighting System) in JuJitsu whereas, competition in Belt Wrestling will be in accordance with the techincal rules of IBWA.
AJJBWF will also conduct Examinations for Continental Instructors and Referees.
” A series of Camps where Ju-Jitsu & Belt Wrestling training is associated to social events.
” Participation in selected initiatives promoted by Associations of International Sports Federations.

In fact, in 1987, the International Assembly founded the International Ju-Jitsu Federation, whilst EJJF continued its activity becoming one of Continental Unions within IJJF, as EJJU.

On 30th of July 1998 an extraordinary Congress in Malaga (ESP) the International Ju-Jitsu Federation accepted the new name of Ju-Jitsu International Federation and the new abbreviation JJIF. Which activities are promoted by the JJIF?

Belt Wrestling is the sport recognized in the world by UNESCO and its route starts from the Central Asian Countries and presently more then 76 countries are the member of IBWA and many others have already applied for membership.
The rules of competitions are the same as follows by the IBWA.

Korea Jujitsu Belt Wrestling Federation is going to Host 1st National Master Ju-Jitsu Seminar in Busan South Korea and going to invite Instructor from Taiwan on 7th Nov to 13th Nov 2008 for the preparation of Ju-Jitsu World Championship at Malmo Sweden on Friday 28th – Sunday 30th Nov 2008, 6th World Games- Taiwan and 3rd Indoor Asian Games going to be held at Hanoi- Vietnam by OCA.Jujitsu is official sports of world games under the patronage of International Olympic Committee official sports of 1st Asian Martial Arts Games by OCA and demo sports in 3rd Indoor Asian Games.
Youn In Duk President Korea Jujitsu Belt Wrestling Federation spoke to Media person that KJJBWF is inviting Dylan Sung, Technical Delegate for the World Games organized by International World Games Association under the patronage of International Olympic Committee and Technical Director of Jujitsu in World Games 2009 and Grandmaster L.Y. Sung Vice-president of the Taiwan Sport Ju-Jitsu Association for the 1st National Ju-jitsu Seminar in Busan South Korea to promote Jujitsu in Korea.
Mr Khalil Ahmed Khan President AJJBWF was here in Busan and meet with the mayor of Busan Mr Har Nam Shik along with Respected Syed Shahid ALI Member International Olympic Committee for development of KJJBWF and after that Dr Paul G Hoglund President of Jujitsu Federation International and GAISF Council Member was here for the promotion of Jujitsu Sports in Korea.
In the addition Mr Youn In Duk told that KJJBWF is going to start many project for the promotion of Jujitsu in Korea we are trying to provide sponsorship for the players from multinational companies, KJJBWF is going to repersante South Korea for the first time in World Jujitsu Championship in Malmo Sweden on Nov 2008
