Home Country: | Although it is possible to perform judo techniques using normal clothing, shirts, jackets even ties (which would be pretty effective) etc, you must learn to also grip your opponents arms and instead of gripping a judo collar, hold round the head or waist. Practice in the dojo should not just be gripping a gi. What if you got in a fight at the beach?
