Well, to some so naive and gullable, ranking is what they desire.
I know of two schools who've "handed out ranks" like candy....
It did increase enrollment.....

sice after all ablackbelt has magical powers which when you recieve you get superhuman ninja turtle powers, and can beat anyone in a fight.
i wouldnt take it. i would keep the belt i have, and test as it should be which would give you a much better understanding of the basics, and ultimately make you much better than if you just jump ahead. but id you are that good, simply ask if you could go to advanced classed as well. in Judo what rank is red , is it right before black?
Red is second grade. :P
And I started off in Advanced Class, before I got my belt.
