Home Country: | Running for Randori I`m quite new to judo and i find i gas really quicly during randori, I run outside of class to improve cardio. However, i was wondering how helpful running will be in helping with endurance during randori? Are there any other useful exercises i could be doing? |

Home Country: | I like to mountain bike for my cardio workout. It's less stress on your knees and ankles than running, and, to me, it's not as boring.

Home Country: | It will give you some extra wind and improve your health overall, but how you generally use energy in martial arts is different from in running. With running, you are generally at a moderate, even pace. However, in martial arts there are usually long periods of rest interspersed with short bits of intensity.
So, I am not saying don't run, but I am suggesting that you change it up with wind sprints once in a while. However, the most effective way to increase your stamina for martial arts is to do martial arts. |

Home Country: | the obvious answer would be to do as much randori as possible, this helped my groundwork endurance enormously just by going again and again till you start losing because your so tired it will also improve your randori.
Or you could shadow throw |

Home Country: | Sprint. Also sprint uphills. Jogging over distance is ok, but sprints will help you with explosiveness which is what you need as well as endurance during randori and ne waza. |
