Kyokushin Karate vs. Shaolin Xanda
I would personally bet on the Shaolin kid, but the karate kid looks powerful

What a shock that the decision went to the Chinese kid
yeah, I think that the only round the chinese kid won was the first one, I mean, he pushed the japanese kid out of ring on purpose, and i am not sure if that was against the rules, but i do believe so.

At least America isn't the only country where parents push their kids too hard to be professional athletes.
Not sure about rules. If it was in Japan, I think purposefully shoving an opponent out of the ring is fully acceptable.

If it was sanda rules in China, then that's legal.
will actually i like the fight for me shaolin kid deserve it because he had a nice timing for kicking and his counter attack is great but the both have done th worst fighting stances i have ever seen and thier foot work is messy and thier strikes was wide ,apparent and clear to be seen and both of them haven't learnt any blocks at all . but nice fight .

would shoving be technically against the rules? i mean if you think about it, shoving would basically be a side kick or a front push kick, but with hands... so would it?
*edit* er... i mean wouldn't be against the rules...
why u are just talkin about the shoving why don't u talk about the both techniques actually the chinese has a better technique but this shoving was - in my own opinion - because of the chinese was tired so he pussed him by all his energy to stop the match for a while as u see the japanese was throwin away .

I was rooting for the Shaolin kid because I like that kind of thing. However I wouldnt go as far as saying neither of them have learned to block because that match was about scoring points and if you watch, for example, the olympic sparring matches they've basicly completely dropped their hands (which is a big no no IRL) but in the sparring match they dont care because they just want to get as many points as possible. So dont say they havnt learned to block because at their level Im certain they've been taught to. Also their fighting stance... this is called a sparring stance (at least in my MA it is) and theirs was perfectly fine... These are not street fights nor are they UFC fights, this was a "Who can score the most hits" fight. Tech. I guess the UFC is like that to a point, but not nearly as obvious as these kinds of fights. Anyways, these two types of martial arts have different rules than the one your studying so...

sorry mister , but a fight is a fight it never be parted . so if he learnt how to block and if he put a block will he lose a point ?!!!!!!!!!
if he put a block and give a counter attack his chances to win a point will be doubled .
and the sparring stance will be ur stance evry time u get ready to fight because ur body will get used of lowing down ur hands every time u kick .
