I need some help finding information about an organization I belonged to while practicing Seishin Juku Karate in Japan. I've searched the internet many times trying to get information about the Seishin Juku style or the International Tohgi Karate-do Association (of which I still have my lifetime membership card), but the only hit I've ever gotten was a U.S. astronaut's bio that says he is also a member of the ITAS. Can anyone here at the forums point me in the right direction? I would love to re-establish contact with my old sensei or at least find out what is going on with my old club and organization. Any help would be appreciated.

What was the name of the base you were stationed at and the surrounding area? What were the names of your Instructors? Even if you are unable to find your Organization online, you maybe able to find a phone number to the school or to your Instructor's Home

The base was Yokosuka Naval Station, and my instructor's name was Yoshihiro Takashima. However, I've tried searches on both of those as well. The club is still there at the base, but, just as it was when I was there, it's in a gym part-time on the base. So there's not permanent school there.

Okay souldrum71.. using my Online Ninji skills I have come accross a Myspace person living on base at the Yokosuka Naval Station! I've already sent a message (seeing as your myspace account is rarely used) inquiring about information concerning Yoshihiro Takashima and/or The International Tohgi Karate-do Association teaching Seishin Juku there! I hope to hear from him today or tomorrow
