No pics yet, but my (4 year old) daughter and I attended our belt ceremony last night and received our senior green belts, w00t!
When I first came here to the forum I had just started TDK. I was feeling old and out of shape, worried that I wouldn't be able to handle the rigors of class. Ya'll said .. no worries. My weight was 212, I couldn't touch my toes, I couldn't run a half mile without stopping. Basically, the worst shape of my life.
Now, I am 202 lbs, I stand on steps to touch my toes as to go past my feet almost laying my torso across my legs, and call go all out sparring for 10 minutes before I have to give it a break. Needless to say I am pretty pleased with what TDK has done for me and am very excited to see what happens over the next 7 months.
I love to hear stories about how martial arts have helped people feel so much better about themselves so quickly. I congratulate you and your daughter whole heartedly and hope that you two will continue to train and improve together.
Hahacongrats Mate!! Green belt nice...Your getting there.

Wow! Your daughter is really sharp with her forms, even in comparison to the older/bigger kids on the video and especially for a 4-year old. She is going to make a very good black belt one day.
I don't know how much your school stresses forms, but she would certainly stand out in any group of kids that I have ever seen. I really hope that when my as of yet un-conceived daughter joins martial arts that she is as good as yours. Really, congratulations again.
That's amazing! Just joining the forms that gives me motivation to take up an art. Heck if a four year old can do that, I Can too! Atleast I would think so. Also how high is a green belt?
