Sr. Blue Belt

Sidney and I tested and passed. Sr. blue belts now! W00t! Next stop, brown belt.

As much as I hate these sr. ranks (pretty sure it's there just as a revenue generator) it is nice that I can take the next few months and perfect the form. I was pretty shakey out there at testing.

The sparring is picking up as well. I found myself gasping for air after only two rounds. I think I am gonna have to take up running or find a better way to manage my breathing while sparring. OR ... maybe I should stop smoking!

Congratulations. It's always nice to hear people making progress. You'll be a blackbelt in no time.

Please excuse, I don't want to seem oppugnant, but adding many other colors, stripes, names, per more belts seem exorbitant.

I know...I am saying that it would seem that a lot of extra levels/belts are added...

Is this for distinction, from other schools, or producing more of a learning curve?
