I would also like to commend everyone for not making any 'Captain Planet' jokes.

It isn't anime at all. It is created by two americans, and the art is all american. I have the dvd's and I listened to the commentaries. They know their stuff when it comes to color theory.

I think he's using 'anime' to refer to the style of the art. The 'watered-down' comment may be related to the fact it is drawn by Americans. Same thing as to why the Mega-Tokyo comic is in the Manga section of Barnes and Noble.

Well, the style of art looks a little anime, but if you watch the episodes, you see how much better it is. At least I like it better than anime. The art in some videos is just amazing. Just look at my sig.

Oh, it is lethal. I just put that as a style, cuz I always go around my house and find things to use as weapons. I have trained with shovels, hoes, rakes, rake handles(pretty much a Bo staff), Brooms. I have also trained with smaller Items, like pinecones, those mini-gardener shovels, not to mention I make a lot of different weapons. I like how easy it is to find a weapon to better you advantage. If we ever have a martial forums get-together, I will teach it to you . Nah, if you already have a bunch of MA experience, you can make your own yard-tool-do.
