Our GwanJangNim is kinda' old fashioned, and strict about his dojang and teaching, so he won't let us bring cameras and such. He wont even let us bring cellphones...

Grandmaster is actually not the correct name for the "Founders of TKD"... Grandmaster is someone who has achieved 9th Dan Black Belt. 10th Dan Black Belt is like a "Medal Of Honor"...
I'm under Kukkiwon Style TKD... Can't remember my Grandmasters name(Our GwanJangNim), as we all call him GwanJangNim
The story is that 10th Dan is only posthumous making it slightly harder to get than a Medal of Honor (as you can live to tell the tale of getting a Medal of Honor). That being said, I don't know of any 10th Dans, so I don't know if the posthumous thing is true or not.

I heard that the 10th Dan was created in TKD solely to belittle General Choi Hong Hi (the founding Father for those not doing TKD) when we went to meet the President/dictator/prime-minister/whatever-he-calls-himself/god of North Korea (who promoted himself to 10th Dan)
I think that man is in Prison Now.

Congratulations, I knew you could do it. Now, go out and celebrate before you have to put your nose back to the grindstone and work, work, work for you next rank.
