Just curious about what kind of injuries people have gotten while training. My wosrt one was blowing out tendon on thumb when i got hit with heavy bag while helping lower rank with spinning back kick. (always keep hands in tight fist).

My worst was probably having my right ring finger snapped at the 1st joint. Was sparring and got my finger caught in a sleeve. Took two pins and too damn long of recovery time.

Well from bjj in the short time i have been doing it: pulled hip muscle, dislocated toe (popped right back in but still doesnt feel right), blisters on the feet and knees, slight mcl sprain, sore wrist (i think its strained), and a bunch of bumps and bruises. Nothing really bad though and most are just part of the learning curve while my body is getting adjusted.
Dislocated knee while sparring in kyokushin, broken nose while sparring in Seishin Juku, severely bruised ribs while sparring in TKD, and more busted lips, bloody noses, and bruises than I can possibly count.

I don't know if I'd consider me having you beat. It's more like I've been beaten on more than you.
Oh, and I forgot the dozen or so times I've broken my left foot's little toe while training over the years. I can now bend it around backwards at will, which really grosses people out.

Here I sit with a bag of ice on my right shoulder. I was doing defense against wrist grabs with my Sempai and I strained my shoulder. We do wrist escapes where you push one way & then jerk your arm free by going the other way. I forgot that I had strained my shoulder 2 weeks ago and now I made it worse. Sometimes when experimenting with different techniques I just feel stupid. Anyone identify with this feeling?
