Hmm, if your asking what I think your asking then you obviously haven't been to the chinese martial arts section. Please specify if maybe it's like a strange unmentioned kung fu or if it's something else.
no kung fu is the word for skill, thats why people tell a cook he has great kung fu. It can also be used as the chinese word for martial arts along with wushu. but Kung fu could be any style, but now it is only used to refer to styles originating in china.

It is not a true Chinese word for martial art as it became a generic one to appease dumb Occidentals.
Now Asians want to get on the mis-terminology to show something great and indentifiable.
