What are some moves for tiger claw because I am wanting to learn some good moves
Great question!!
The best response I can give is use your imagination and be creative.
As we continue to train, we take the basic moves we learn in class and apply them in an almost unlimited amount of ways.
Find the similarities to other moves, find the circles, experiment, find what works, find out why it works.
This may not be the answer your looking for right now but start thinking about it.
block and grab your attackers punch while stepping back into a side bow stance, then at the same time use your side tiger claw to strike the throat or chin. By doing this you step back and sink which makes the attackers other hand harder to hit you and the simoteanous movement makes it hard for a slow kicker to kick you for, when your claw grips his throat he'll probably hestitate. Also by pulling his fist and locking his throat in your claw it makes it hard for him to move foreward or backwards because you could really inflict pain/damage on someone from this position if applied corecctly.

ahhh, truer words have never been spoken. Tiger Claw techniques without the training designed to make the Tiger Claw a true weapon, makes your Kung-Fu empty.
There are many methods used in developing the Claw. Grasping weighted jars with the fingertips, fingertip pushups, tying and untying knots in rope with the individual fingers. When this is easily accomplished, you then wet the rope. Thrusting the hand and fingers into jars of various substrate and grasping. Catching grasping and holding weighted bags, wrist rollers, hanging by the bar.
Not just one method needs to be practiced, but ALL the methods, for extended periods of time over years.
Nowadays, people are not willing to put in the time and effort that is required to develop the real skills.(Gung-Fu)
Tiger Claw techniques encompass ripping, tearing, raking, grasping, pulling, dotting (striking with the fingertips like you would slam someone with a rake)twisting. Strikes can be to the face, trachea, muscles, tendons, etc.
Then come the techniques themselves.
THEN comes the mental/emotional training of the spirit of the Tiger, which is ruthless aggression. A Tiger pounces on its prey with all its power and ferocity. It attacks a rabbit with the same power it would a gazzelle.
This is Tiger Claw.

Are you serious? LOL....Thats way to complicated. Good luck though in trying to do that......LOL. The tiger claw can be used in many ways. It can be used as a rake to the face, a strike using the palm part, it can be used to block, and it can be used as a strike and rake to the face simultaniously(sp?).
The best way to use the tiger claw in my opinion is when you see a situation during a fight that you can use it in then use it. I wouldn't fight a whole fight with my hands formed like a tiger claw. I would use other strikes as well if the situation came open to use them. Other hand strikes are the crane beak, pheonix eye, dragon claw, leopard paw, spear hand (or snake head strike), etc....

Any hand position used in such fashion can rake the face, etc., and can be applied to any animal of mimick
