My 3 top martial arts villians of all time

hwanjanglee.jpg

Hwang jang Lee. He played the villian in hundreds of Kung Fu movies. He was soo good that in order to kill him, he was often double and triple teamed, cheated, blinded, or all this thing together, he was rarely defeated one on one. He had a menancing look that made you wanna watch the movie with a gun on at side, just in case. lol
Very skilled, in most of cases, he was even better than the protagonist of the movie and in the end you find yourself cheering for him and feeling sorry when he was beaten by a lesser skilled annoying oponent.
Hwang Jang Lee - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

wanglungwei.jpg

Wang Lung Wei. This was one of the main villians in the Shaw Brothers stable. I REALLY hated him when he played the role of Ma Fuyi in Shaolin Temple and Five Shaolin Masters. He played the traitor who helped the manchus to burn the Shaolin Temple, DARN YOU MA FUYI!!!! lol He was a traitor, a snake, he was envy of Fang Shi yi, but he had skills.
His Fight against Gordon Liu in the movie Martial Club is one of the best of all time.
Wang Lung-Wei

lolieh.jpg

Lo Lieh. Last but no least we have this man. He was one of the top stars of the Shaw Brothers studios. He wasn't a martial artist but was an amazing actor who could pick up the moves and using them acording his character. He had that "dont trust him" look on his face. He played the villian in many movies but his legendary character is Pak Mei, the white eyebrow monk who helped to destroy Shaolin (wow, so many people hated the Shaolin Temple lol )He was soooo bad, that in the movie "Heroes of Shaolin" He killed Hwang Jang Lee from behind, with a sword and they were supposed to be friends lol I told you, just don't trust him.
Lo Lieh - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Yes, Bolo was bad, but this 3 guys were worse!!! they were killers, liars, cheaters, rapists, traitors and sometimes, they did all this things in one single movie

yeah old kung fu movies, one tv station in malaysia is currently showing those old kungfu movies again, best villain gotta be tong po, but his end is kinda one sided, it would be better if he and van damme duke it all out and van damme wins slimly

I agree that hwang jung lee is one of the best kickers in martial arts movies. best bad guy.
Tong po is forgetable to me.
Bolo has all the package but one thing i pity about the guy is : how many lines did they give him in a movie. I know action speaks louder than words yeah yeah yaeh but come on. He hardly speak more than a few lines amid all the growling and shouting.
His characters did not develop and became all too cliche. Same old, same old character. No wonder he never became a hero.

Well, technically Chuck Norris is a bad guy in Enter the Dragon, so he is obviously the best bad guy!

Hwang Jang Lee

My favorite is Hwang Jang Lee, not only because he's a Korean but because of his kicking abilities.

According to the Internet Movie Database, Hwang killed a man in real life (in self-defense) using his powerful kick. The most reliable story actually unfolds similar to many kung fu movies. Hwang was apparently challenged by a man who wielded a knife against him simply to see if Hwang's martial arts technique was as good as his knife skills. Hwang, only intending to subdue the man, underestimated the power of his kick on the man, unintentionally killing him.

Hwang Jang Lee quit acting in the early 1990s and returned in South Korea on Jeju, where at first he ran a golf-tee manufacturing company and hotel in Seoul. He also ran a bodyguard agency. Hwang only made occasional film appearances, notably two Korean films, Underworld (1994) and Boss (1996). Hwang has a son, Jason. In January of 2003, Hwang was awarded his 9th-degree black belt in Taekwondo and is now Grandmaster Hwang Jang Lee.
