Sorry to make a whole thread about this but I need back up...
Is Chow Yun Fat a martial artist. Every movie I've seen him in he is a gun toting marksman and I looked on wikipedia and they didnt say he practiced anything.
So does anyone know for sure? Thanks in advance.

knowing a few moves and being a martial artist are 2 diff things. Anyone thats ever watched Buffy would think Sarah Michelle Gellar is a marital arts master, but she isnt anything but a choreagraphers product.

He is a Hong Kong actor. He has been somewhat trained in wushu to fill in some of the roles he has taken. He was acting long before he did any martial arts.
He's been in a lot of "martial arts" movies but I've never considered him to be a true martial artists. Still, I love all his movies, especially his earlier ones where he dies at the end in every one of them.
