Aww cmon. He's rather funny if you ask me. His style really doesnt lend itself to the screen at all. Hell I think I saw him in 10 movies before anyone even landed a punch on the guy. Thats just ridic, and he never fights other movie martial artists. Its always him as a super crime fighting cop/fbi agent vs some idiots that have no idea whats in store for them. And Segal talks funny.
I'm more of a Bloodsport/Kickboxer kind of guy.

Why do you guys have so much hate for the guy? Out of all the actors that generally star in action movies he and Chuck Norris are the real deal. We love Segal over here because atleast he is a tough guy in real life or is as far as i know.....

I think hate might be a bit stroing a word for how some of us feel about Seagal. First off, I'd have to care enough to hate him and I just don't. There's several martial arts actors that can't act...he's up at the top of the list. Add to that his pretty well documented arrogance. Keep in mind also that movie martial arts do not equate to real ife martial arts. Just because somoene is a bad ass in the movies does not mean he is in real life. Some actors tend to forget that.

I lost a great deal of respect for him when he has to wear his designer suits in all of his movies. I think that started in Undersiege 2. From then on I haven't seen any of his movies. I did like Underseige though but Tommy Lee Jones played a bad guy SO perfect.

Yeah and Gary Busey was even good in his role as a XO turned bad guy. The movie was full of BS but worth watching as pure fiction.
