I am talking about the standard form of zombies that shamble along and attempt to bite you when close enough. The only way to kill them is to destroy their brain as a severed head will still have the ability to bite you (however, the body will die). You get infected if you have direct contact (bodily fluid exchange) with an infected person.

How would your art protect your from joining the horde of the walking undead?

um idk, a gun!!!! ha ha that is my first choice.
second, a very sharp katana, and if i had to fight hand to hand, then i'd break the bodies limbs first, since they can't get to me if they can't move.
then id jump Enter the Dragon Style on their head !!!
other than that just basic twisting head, snapping neck techniques if i can manage not to get bit

I'd go with a qiang (Chinese spear). Long range and you've got that nice cutting tool on the end to lop off their heads.

various staffs and a da dao, other then that just beat them hand to hand since they are way to slow to bite me, plus my highly developed qi will prevent me from turning from the first couple bites
