Best Martial Arts video game

As far as true martial arts fighting I would have to go with the Virtua Fighter series by Sega. I have always enjoyed playing this series of games, also Tekken is always fun to waste a few min. on if I find the time.

I think they just announced a newer version of Mortal Kombat at the video games award show this week, or last week.

i think mortal combate is a classic, but you guys really got me interested in tekken, i will have to check it out.

i tried my hand in street fighter and tekken-i would consider myself better with tekken and very poor when it comes to the combos on street fighter...

...All though Im more into ninja games such as Tenchu.

Yup heaven earth(tenchu if i am correct)was a great series all on its own.But i think they kind of slacked off in the most recent one.

You forgot Virtua Fighter, the first fighting game in 3D. And shouldn't beat em up games like Shenmue be included?

oh man dude im all about the tenchu that game is crazy awesome but when it does come to fighting games by far tekken beats them all
