I recently got this gamecube game called UFC Throwdown it was made in 2002 though its fun to play... I think they came out with an XBOX 360 one or they will soon im to poor for that... However out of these choices I like Tekken
I LOVED Tekken. My favorite was the Tae Kwan Do(sp?) specialist. I was the man at that game. I just love street fighter because of its rich history and its feel. It has a comfortable feel to it like a comic book.

I believe the Tae Kwon Do specialist was Baek in Tekken 1 & 2. Then, they brought in his pupil, Hwaorang. Similar moves but Hwaorang had few extra fancy kicks.

I had to go with Tekken. Dead or Alive was second in my choice, but Tekken is my Most favoirte. I've played 1 thru 5, and can't wait till the 6th comes out. My favoirte characters are Martial & Forrest Law. Eddy Gordo, and Christy Montero. I like all the characters though, they are all great, just not all my favorite!
Hwaorang! Yepp, he was absolutely my man. His arm reach wasn't great at all but his leg combinations were amazing. I remember playing Tekken Tag for the PS2 and fighting on the hardest level. At that level it was really intense like real martial arts intense because you couldn't just block attacks and then attack. You had to dodge them lightning fast as you would in real life. Its probably the most intsense virtual fighting i've ever experienced.

Not in the same category of tournament fighting as the games listed in the poll, but still a martial art video game. Has anyone here played Rise to Honor...? Jet Li's game. Now that game was pertty baddass. It also has a sequel coming. Apart from the tournament fighting games as listed in the polls. Rise to Honor would have to be among my favorite and in my opinion one of the best martial art games
