Jade Empire 2
hey everyone.
I loved JE and all of the philosophies, combat, and endings.
I can't wait for the second one, but it is going to be on Xbox 360, and I have more important stuff to buy, Like punching bags, or sparring gear, or MA classes so I can't make that arrangement.
I haven't heard that much on it.
what would you all like to see in this one?
I'd like to see more fighting/weapon/chi arts, and also i'd like for the combat to be less of RPG based and more like mortal kombat, so you just switch styles at a button.
Another cool thing would be to be able to buy MA clothes of different parts of the world.
Exapmle
-Kung Fu or Shaolin Robes from China
-Muay Thai shorts and ropes from thailand
-Gi's from Japan
- and maybe even street clothes from U.S.A
the last one brings me to a new idea.
What if they made it a story line where the character trains in some aincient dynasty, and there is some way the character is transported to the modern world (future) and he has missions there to get back to his time or something.

bioware is busy worrying about mass effect selling, which is like a third person shooter super rpg

Im sorry does anyone think my hate for computer games is coming through in my post...
you've made your point.
yeah there are lots of couch potatoes in society today, and that is why america is the most obese country, but hopefully my posting about a video game doesn't pass off the idea that i am one of those kids, because my usual day is (truthfully)
1 hour of games if that
the rest is training or meditating, or just drawing or reading.

yes this is very true considering the fact that everyone is interested in myspace, and Grand Theft Auto.
I hear that my generation is the most lazy, and shortest life span due to this.
Technology.
to tell the truth i am more against it than for it.
Like other Maists i love the nature, and meditating and being one with the universe, and all that stuff, so that is why i find Video Games boring, and a waste of time, but I still enjoy playing some games like Jade Empire and Metal gear Solid.
I am addicted to three major things in this world.
Martial Arts
Friends and girls
Music and things that get me emotionally hooked.

Haha.
See, this is like my partner though - she spends FOREVER at the pc playing online games like Lineage - she even has a headset to talk to people a million miles away who also have nothing better to do than beat up dragons or whatever.
Me, I read a book, or go for a run, or do my workouts if I'm bored.
I think the combat system needs a complete revamp...the battles in the first game were too easy and the fighting system was too clunky.
More diverse fighting styles, or more emphasis placed on those style would be excellent. So would more weaponry.
The idea of the characters traveling to the future seems a little far-fetched to me, and would really ruin the story/world that the first Jade Empire built.
