Haven't played it yet, but I've seen the promo for it. Looks pretty awesome!

What system did you play it on? The PS2 one wasn't sandbox.
360 but, maybe sandbox isn't the right word in comparison to something like GTA's sandbox. The thing I liked about it was that they gave me Iron Man's powers and let me use them however I really wanted. In MOST super hero games I have played how the super powers were used is usually very restrictive.
I read game informer and they said that flying around in the suit was like being a human pinball. That fighting even the lowliest of bad guys resulted in being owned. And it compared the laser to a child's buzz lightyear weapon.
Was it wrong?

A general rule I have about answering the question, "Is Game Informer wrong?" is "Yes."
If you have a 360, the Iron Man demo is available on LIVE. Controls are awkward at first, but that is mostly due to the massive amount of options you have available to you. When you first pick up the game, you will probably be bouncing all over the place (just like Stark was in the movie). However, a shallow learning curve later, you will be catching missiles and redirecting them at helicopters like a pro.
Now... unless I am a video game god in comparison to the people at Game Informer, I think they may have over stated the difficulty of the game. Regular round troops drop like wingless flies. Tanks and the like take a bit more punishment, but you can honestly get through a lot situations using only punches.
My general policy for Gamestop is similar to my policy on Game Informer. Gamestop makes most of its money from selling used games which they have bought back from customers. This marketing plan, although genius, will only last until people are more comfortable with online purchasing and digital distribution.
Speaking of which

Of those 3 I would only put Ninja Gaiden 2 on my must have list. Managing to get 1000 achievement points on that one officially makes you a higher class of citizen among gamers.
