Martial Arts GamesDiscuss your favorite martial arts games here
Here is a game that will be\was announced at E3 this year. Very interesting as most of the game seems to be based around free-running (although it has been stated that the game will not be open world like GTA). Additionally, there will be a fairly simple martial arts interface with an attack and disarm button. It has been stated that mostly the martial arts in the game will be based on your character's momentum through the world (just like real martial arts). This won't be out for a while, but it is something that I may just have to go out and get a PS3 for. (Only later picking up Grand Theft Auto 4, Little Big Planet and Metal Gear Solid 4.)
Do you think she has a set of like six or seven moves? Or do you think you can determine that?
Well, just from the videos I have seen it seems to be more like the objects in the environment effect her animations instead of there being preset animation. Like some kind of controlled rag doll effect.
Early reports promise that the controls are very simple with just a few buttons accomplishing a lot of the tasks.
There are a bunch of other videos up by now. I just posted the one they showed at E3 because it was very parkour (which is something that appears here from time to time). A second video that I saw involved a few more fight scenes as well as the main character picking up, using, and tossing away several guns.
The only thing I really worry about is that this game will be like 'Enter the Matrix': gets bad reviews and is generally linear. The most fun part about that game was trying to come up with new riskier ways to kill people.
Hmm well... that's nice... I guess it looks like they need to add more to it. It is very lara crofty and I loved Lara croft. It's a pretty straight forward game but you can't really complain about those too much.
