If I mention my favorite martial arts game of all time I'll have to say Mortal Kombat series. There are other games that come into play as well. For instance, Street Fighter was one of the first games that change the genres of video games. It helped create a window for more martial based games today. If you've noticed lately. More and more video games that are coming out are based on fighting. Some type of martial art is confined in these games. Besides, first person shooters more and more games are based off of martial arts. Devil May Cry series has Kung Fu, Tae Kwon Do, Hapkido and styles of the ancient samurai's placed into the video game. Another example is the Onimusha series. All of the facts of that game are based off of ancient warlords and villians of the early 12th century. That style of playing is based off of Hapkido and other ancient samurai tactics. Think about that.
i dont remember any hapkido or tae kwon do in devil may cry or onimusha, i dont rember it in any of the games in the seires but kendo/kenjutsu did play a big part in onimusha
