Might sound funny initially but hell no its not. Had a problem for a while now, seen a piodiatrist and a chiropodist AND a physio and still no joy. everyone blames it on my work shoes (safety boots) but my physio now thinks its some kind of infection. anyway. what it is, is both little toes have swollen like mad, and the toes next to em too. it hurts like hell when i put weight on that side of my feet.... underneath the foot at the 'start' of the toes are agony. due to walking like a cripple trying to avoid putting weight on the outside of my feet, my big toes are now no longer straight but are slanted towards the rest of my toes, in turn squashing them up to the next and so on so on. when ive been sat down a while its painful as hell. when ive been active, they dont seem so bad.
after my 1st bjj session i almost cried the next day with every footstep as ive obviously used my feet in differnt ways than i normally would with the floorwork etc. not something im blaming on bjj - as i say, its an ongoing thing problem and i probably shouldve known better
im booked in at the doctors next week for another look. but untill then i still have to work and live a normal life etc but does anyone know a good way of soothing feet - or specifically toes?! ive tried ice packs and alsorts but nothing really works. if its an infection then yes, im sure there isnt much i can do without medication of some sort but there must be a way to releive them a little?? any suggestions welcome
