Hummm, well if they stop when you stop exercising it might be something else then. I really don't know. Usually spasms will continue on after you have stopped.

Back spasms are really hard to bear. One way to help alleviate the pain is by bathing in warm water with some aromatherapy bath salts. You could probably do this after you have undergone some massage.

Back Spasms

I never thought about the bath salts. I am gonna try that the next time. I usually take a very hot shower and let it beat down on my back to loosen it up and massage really helps. Trish

If it keeps up you better see a doc and get an MRI. The MRI showed me exactly where I had a slipped disc & arthritis. I am going to physical therapy & the doc says there is a good chance we can move the disc back & get some relief from the pain & spasms.

Thanks,
Tom

Arthritis

Does the physical therapy help your arthritis at all? Did they have to do a MRI to find out what kind of arthritis you have or did they do that mostly for your disk? I have an injured back, but I have mostly been suffering with my arthritis lately and have yet to find anything that helps with that. It hits me head to toe so that becomes a problem sometimes.

I am hoping that the pain is from the slipped disc. We are concentrating on moving the disc backto alleviate the pain. The arthritis is narrowing my spinal canal but it may not be pinching it. I am stsating to feel better.

Thanks,
Tom
