Martial Arts InjuriesDiscuss how to deal with martial arts injuries and illnesses here
I've had this kind of pain before, and it usually goes away after a week or two or resting. But it got worse overnight, it hurts to lift my arm up or sideways.
Sounds like the rotator cuff. Go get checked out, doc will tell you to take it easy no push ups blah blah blah. Better to be safe then sorry, also better to miss one day of Judo then one year

Yep, I was thinking the same thing. Rotator Cuff injuries are common in this sport and are pretty easy to do, those are really small muscles. Any doctor right now is simply going to diagnose you with what smyptoms you have, tell you to schedule an MRI if he feels it's necessary. Wait for the referral before going to the orthopedic surgeon for God's sake!!!!
