The movie actually reminds me of some of Simon Yueng or Jackie Chans films from the 1970s. These great movies full of Slap Stick comedy mixed with some great MA action scenes.

It was OK in my view. Better than Steven Segal's flicks

I like the scenary, costumes, and the Japanese martial artists/swordsmen.

And a little of Tom's humor with "Bob".

The name of the movie is The Last Samurai, but instead of being about the actual last Samurai, it centers around a rat faced little white guy? Pass.

"The Last Scientologist."

Well, they have to bring in a white guy from Hollywood for the big box office draw.

The whole thing was just an expensive excuse for rat-face to pose with a katana. What plot there was, was confused, unrealistic, and contradictory.

Utter crap.
