the action and choreography looks pretty cool. only thing i dont like is the plot. too cliche, which is common
in MA films but i think they coulda worked on the plot some more.
But in MA movies, it's always I want something... I must fight to get it. Or... I'm a police officer... My partner was killed... I must avenge him 16 years later.
I liked it cos it's MMA. Does anybodyknow any already released MMA movies?

i know they showed alot of striking because that appeals to the audience more. but i think they shouldve put more grappling
and throws into the choreography. even if it is a buncha fancy ones like with the kicks. it would still show more of what MMA entails......maybe theres more to it since this is just a preview

I'm willing to give it a chance, but I only recognized one face in that preview so it looks kind of low budget to me. Low budget usually means less research into the subject matter so I'm really not expecting much from this movie.

Kind of like "Fight Club" meets "Karate Kid". I actually enjoyed the movie. If your looking for an oscar worthy movie that accurately depicts real MMA fighting than save your money. Once again we get to see High School kids living the lifestyles of 25 year old millionaires, and the main characters take hits that would put Ali on his back, but it was a fun ride.
Just watched it, definitely better than what I expected, and I think there was a fair amount of grappling in the choreography. As for the quality of it, I can't judge, though it looked impressive to me.
I bought the DVD, its kinda a "Karate Kid" for the next generation type of thing. Its more striking oriented but has some nice grappling to it and of the transitions are exagerated...

Yeah, I saw a preview that showed one guy doing some kind of crazy flip to transition to (I think) an armbar. You know they're going to exagerate the grappling transitions because they have to make it look flashier for the camera. Still my curiosity is sparked now.

Comparing it to the UFC, it sucks bum. Worth the time I guess, but it's nothing special.
