Don't like the choreographer. He's making her start and stop and not be sure of where her marks are. Got a feeling it would be much better with a better fight choreographer.
She's very flexible and shows some good technique. In my opinion, there aren't enough female martial artists out there as role models, so I'm glad to see her.

In the movie scenes she had the athletic hotness going on, but during the interview she looked like she was 10. She should never wear anything then tied back hair and a sports bra/tank top.

She has very good control. I agree about the female martial arts role models, their aren't many. Even fewer ever play the lead, and the ones that do are usually 'less than positive' in terms of gender stereotypes (i.e. Lara Croft).

The only major thing I didn't like was the few instances of start/stop (such as the staircase) as you mentioned and the slow motion parts. General rule of fight choreography is that it looks better fast and you usually want to post edit it to be just slightly faster than 100%. I hate slow motion in martial arts flicks.
Very same choreographing done on all of Tony Jaa's movies. Some styles I like, some I don't care for but all in all, it appears she does all her dangerous stunts and looks impressive enough for such a young and fragile looking girl.
