Home Country: | Dark Knight... Well Batman is technically a ninja.
Anyway that movie is utterly disgusting. Joker and 2 Face were some of the best performances ever. Joker is seriously an evil genuis, but is still hilarious. 2 Face was rash and badass.
Writing excellent. Direction excellent. Actors excellent. Only thing I didnt like was the batsuit. It just didnt do anything for me.
Seriously Marvel has been amazing with their horde of movies but they havent made a single origin story as great as Batman Begins. Also they havent made one as epic as Dark Knight.
Next up the Watchmen (DC comic directed by the 300 director) preview was disgusting.
There aint no'mo play in GA!

Home Country: | I expect everything about superhero flicks would be the same. Lame and predictable plot. You can pretty much guess what will happen next. I like Christian Bale though. I like his performance in Reign of Fire. |

But yes "The Dark Knight" is the summer movie block buster.... R.I.P Heath Ledger you were a true artist and a master of your craft

Home Country: | I think the movie needed more time to fix things before releasing it to the big screen. I just feel Hollywood wanted the movie more that taking more time to work on the actors and etc. |

This was the best super hero movie ever and one of the best I've ever seen period. The only loose ends that you may be talking about are setups for the next installment. Everything that you saw was how they wanted it to be. But I'm open to your thoughts as to what was poor. Quote:

MMAmonki,
While I do give the Ironman movie its props its story was nowhere near as gripping as say Dark Knight and nowhere near the writing or importance (in his own world) as Batman Begins. I mean Gotham was going to be destroyed by the League of Shadows. Tony Stark's uncle was going to make some money on a new suit. Big difference.

From the rave reviews in the media, it seems that everybody is talking about Heath Ledger performance above all else. Perhaps, his departure has a reason for it but as I think back to all the previous Batman movies, almost all the villains have a bigger spotlight compared to the hero, the batman himself. Think about Jack Nicholson as Joker, Michelle Pfeifer as The Catwoman, Danny Devito as Penguin. I hae yet to see who plays better JOker, Jack or Heath? Give me your take on that, MMAmonki? |

Home Country: | I know this wasnt directed at me. But Heath's Joker is going to be legendary. Jack's was great because he was Jack. Heath's is great because he is exactly how you expect Joker to be (meaning as portrayed in the comics). Utterly dark, unforgiving, a maniac. But the best of all was how utterly smart he was. Every single thing he tried to do (plan wise) he did. He outsmarted everyone until Batman's last move which was merely a sacrifice. Joker was the smartest and most well planned villian you will or have ever seen in a movie. He played everybody.

Home Country: | Haven't seen the movie yet, but I absolutely have to take my stepson to see it soon. I've heard many great things about the movie so far.
While the training that Batman received in the first movie was undoubtedly ninjutsu, I read a recent interview with the guys who actually did the fight sequences for both movies. The Batman character is actually using the Keysi Fighting Method as his combat style. KFM was created by Andy Norman and Justo Dieguez. Looks like a pretty brutal, reality martial arts style.

Home Country: | Actually it looks exactly like my style of Ninjutsu, but then again I would describe my style as brutal also.
Your goal isnt to hit things, your goal is to destroy things.

Home Country: | I really appreciate how they gave batman some training. It pissed me off in Spiderman how the guy had never thrown a punch and was owning criminal butt with kicks and stuff.
The Joker was absolutely perfect. Not a single bit of the character I didn't like. The fighting was realistic and undramatic. It didn't fake anything, it didn't do blatantly stupid stuff like shooting out of a car window or dramatic jumping and diving. This movie was gritty and real. I still don't understand why batman refuses to use firearms.
