Tekken Line-Up

From imdb;

Plot summary;

A Young Man Who seeks revenge of his mothers death. He finds his grand-father, Heihachi Mishima, and pleas to be trained. When the Mishima leader announces a "King of Iron Fist" tournament. He finds out that his mother's killer will be participating in the tournament. He must fight against the worlds top competitors to achieve his goal with no interference. Written by Neru Cha

The leader of a highly corrupt business under investigation of murder, Heihachi Mishima, suspiciously announces a tournament to crown a "king of iron fist" whereby the winner will be made his personal bodyguard and will have riches and fame laid upon them. However the tournament is not all it seems, as all of the contestants seem to have their own separate agenda's to get close to the man looking to employ them. Consequentlly a group of elite fighters, undercover police and assassins team together in the hope of uncovering the truth but slowly realize they are in fact linked together through more than just there goal of killing Mishima ..... Written by Truth Bringer

Credited Cast:

Luke Goss ... Steve Fox

Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa ... Heihachi Mishima

Chiaki Kuriyama ... Ling Xiaoyu

Jon Foo ... Jin Kazama

Darrin Dewitt Henson ... Raven

Cung Le ... Marshall Law

Ian Anthony Dale ... Kazuya

Lateef Crowder ... Eddy Gordo

Gary Daniels ... Bryan Fury

Kelly Overton ... Christie Monteiro

Candicé Hillebrand ... Nina Williams

Mircea Monroe ... Kara

Gary Ray Stearns ... Yoshimitsu

Marian Zapico ... Anna Williams

Randal Reeder ... Scared Fighter

David Pitt ... Jack - Tekken Police

Cassie Shea Watson ... Med Tech

Louis Herthum ... Tekken Security Cheif

Michael Showers ... Security Assistant #1
Jevon Miller ... Angry Fighter Reject

I don't think they did too bad for the cast, Cung Le would make quite a good law, but since Law is based upon Bruce Lee, the best Bruce Lee lookalike/ actor,

Cung is OK for Law, mostly because it's Marshall, not Forest. In the early Tekken games, Marshall is pictured as pretty muscular, not really like Bruce Lee. Lateef for Eddy was obvious, but the guy playing Jin would need to pack on at least 20 kg-s of muscle to look like him. I mean, he's a twig, and Jin's a powerhouse

And Tagawa as Heihachi should be awesome if he gets the hair like in the games

Im just happy to see John Foo and Lateef again. Ever since the protector i've been watching some of their vids and they are both pretty sick in my opinion. it would also be interesting to see john foo go from Wushu to Karate.
But Lateef......Im glad they didnt screw this up like the other MA game movies, and put someone who didnt fit the part, and everyone knows that lateef does

its another one thats about his life and all, but its only airing in hong kong, and it actually has a great cast.

Bruce Lee's not muscular?

Are you talking about the 98% muscle Bruce Lee or some other one?

Muscular as in buff. Lee is of course lean and ripped, but Marshall had more muscle mass in the first two games.

I think they're basing it on the more recent games since Steve Fox is around.

Gary Daniels huh? I remember watching one of his movies when i was 11 it was called Black Friday. Wasnt bad for a straight to DVD i guess, the plot sucked though.

I hope this move turns out better than D.O.A Dead or Alive. I hated the fact that they had only 4 characters as the main ones.

That doesn't matter, because there are two Laws, the one from Tekken 3, Forrest is a lot more Bruce Lee-like. But to expect them to accurately depict all the characters is a dream

Law isn't flexing, though

edit: I'm a humongous Tekken nerd, so I will be disappointed in this movie 99.9%
