Great choice of movies. Looking at that list reminded me of one of my favorites from high school. Have any of you guys ever seen No Retreat, No Surrender? I think it may have been the first movie with Van Damme in it, but he played the bad guy.

I remember that movie. He played the Russian. And of course, he does the split in every movie, starting with this one.
I dont think thats was Chow Yun Fat i think it is Yu Ruan Guong (he also plays the bad Mongol in Musa: The Way of the Warrior)but Iron is another Fav of Mine.
Lol Showdown i little Toyko with Kurt Russel? i like when the guy blows himself up literally!...could be the Brandon Lee Dolf movie as well cant remember atm.
what about Sho-enuff! suprised no one has mentioned

Is Showdown in Little Tokyo as good as Big Trouble in Little China? I love that movie.

Well, both are equally laughable. Except in Big Trouble in Little China they are trying to be funny, and Showdown in Little Tokyo was supposed to be a serious action flick. But I couldn't stop laughing when Dolf Lundgren dresses up as a samuari for the big fight with the Yakuza.

I really liked Ong Bak. Figures considering I have an elbows and knees fetish.
For some reason, both my friend (who first told me about the movie) and my little brother (biggest Jet Li fan ever) thought the bad guy (the Muay Khmer fighter) looked like me. Ofcourse he's nowhere near as good looking.

I have to agree that Ong Bak is the best MA movie that has come out recently just because it adds something new to MA chareography. I think we have seen same old chareography repeatedly done before.
