STOMACH EXERCISES LYING ON THE HEAVY BAG!!!

Hi,

I recently wrote on my blog a post about making situps, reverse crunches and other exercises more beneficial in which i talked about doing them whilst lying on a heavy punch bag. Becuase the bag is round, and easy to slide away from underneath you, you have to use surronding muscles to balance yourself, forcing you to exercise slower, allowing for stricter form and greater benefit from the exercises. Its similar to using one of those bouncy ball exercise gadgets but this is much harder. Has anyone tried this, if so, do you agree with me that its better than doing them just lying on the floor.

I agree 100% But we use partners to sit on your legs so you dont fall of since the bag is round. But we also do obliques (laying on your side and doing a "side sit up") and that is practically impossible to do w/o a partner. But since you can go down further laying on the bag (a larger range of motion) it definitely gives you more of a work out. I love it!
