Yes but a side kick is called a side kick. These are still front kicks delivered with either your lead or back leg thats what I was referring to. I know a side kick can be called a back kick as well as a mule kick but the foot and hip positioning is different so this is not what I was talking about.

However if Souldrum skipped in with his side kick it may solve his problem.

I gotta say I'd have to try and overpower his stance. Not knowing his reach I'd really like to do a super powerful sidekick. And crush whatever he leaves in my path. At the very least get him uncomfortbable mentally.
