In no particular order just how they came to me while I was writing this...
1. Break the 6 minute mark in a mile.
-I'm cracking 7s but I'm getting a bit gassed. So it might take a hot minute.
2. Under 10% bodyfat.
- I think one of the wrestlers of the board said "water dont wrassle" well fat doesnt help anyone either.
3. Squat 250 10 sets of 5.
- I'll start at 135 because I havent squatted in a while, then go up as I get my strength back. This may be the key to getting under the six minute mile.
4. Chin up with my bw+ 90lbs.
- I tend to have a deficiency between my chest and back. At essentially my peak strength I could dip my bw+90lbs. So if I could chinup that weight then essentially I've erased the deficiency.
5. Finish Physical therapy for my shoulder 100% pain free.
- Its really not that bad now. But if I could just move through all of the ranges without pain I could start adding the strength back.
6. Attend class without fail unless injured.
- I have to admit I do skip class to goof off especially since I seperated my shoulder.
7. Join that Kyokushin dojo.
- This may prove to be the hardest goal of all. This sensai is a super tradionalist. He will probably hate that I'm already studying 2 styles and will probably not let me take class. The only way around this that I can think of is some sort of trial run to show him I can handle the load. I mean no matter what I'd be going to a class so it might as well be his. Its not like he teaches for free or something. Well he does, but I'd pay him.
Well thats it for me. What about you? I'm really interested in hearing from you instructors out there. Well I'm out of here for the weekend, unless I drive back to the office, but I doubt that. So Peace!
