Home Country: | In high school I used the Asic's. The best wrestling shoes are the ones with the split soles. Although I stub the heck out of my toes in BJJ I don't wear anything now.

Home Country: | I used to wear TKD when I train by myself but not more anymore. I have rubber mats in my room so I won't hurt my feet. When you wear adidas TKD shoes you can't "feel" your feet. Tournaments are fought barefoot anyway. If I'm kicking a heavy bag (standing bag from everlast, hard as rock) I wear instep guards or I might even fracture my foot if I kick too hard. |

I HAVE FLAT FEET too! Does that mean that I am at risk for stress fracture in my feet????
But I use rubber mats. |

But I use rubber mats. | if you have rubber mat then not so much because you have padding.
but yes you are at higher risk. people who have flat feet are at greater risk (so if you run on hard surfaces wear good shoes) and females in general are at higher risk. women are more likely to have lesser dense bones, are more likely to not eat properly (eating disorders, but i honestly don't think this is strickly a female issue) which also makes you at higher risk, and finally, if you don't have your periods regularly (like most female atheletes) you are at higher risk. oh and people with arthritis are at more risk. |

I often foget about certain types of schools having hardwood floors (why?).
So I have mats at the school
and carpeting at home.
