I think this was really a test for MTV to see if something like this would be accepted and watched by their viewers. I thought the entire 4 weeks was not well put together. Maybe I'm too used to "reality" shows where you follow the contestants around. Something just seemed to be off during the entire show - it really didn't flow well. It was a nice idea.
BTW - what is a Final Fu supposed to be anyway? Kind of a strange name.
It was a good attempt at putting martial arts as main stream and targeted towards the young generation of MTV viewers. I hope to see other stations doing something similar or better to promote martial arts.
tae kwon do is one of the fewest styles who keep their door open to civilians. i think it is cool how they allow you to express your self through the (MA) more than any other style.
Styles: Kickboxing , Greco Roman , Karate, And just a little BJJ..

Yes I seem to remember a few of those guys in the old days of the UFC and I seem to remembering them getting knocked the F-out!
In fact if you go back in the archives just about every style has fought there at one point or another! MMA has always prevailed seems Bruce Lee was right limiting yourself just don’t work!
man it depends on the person not the style, plus actually styles dont limit your ability they increse, you can still use any techniques tha tdont specificly teach just they teach certain techniques to increase certain aspects. From what you say is that no martial artist can beat a good mmartist, which is in no way true its all about he indiviual
