Yes, we work out the triceps, biceps, pecs, deltoids, and trapezius on the first day, and The abs, quads, calfs (forget what they're called right this second. LOL), hamstrings, and obliques.

These specific two women are not two of my fighters. They train in our traditional class. (Side note..."just karate students"??? What is THAT supposed to mean? LOL I would pit most of my "just karate students" against most other schools "MMA fighters" any day. ) We DO have two other women who train in our MMA class, but they don't do the strength training class. Thanks ofr looking out for me though. I DO appreciate it.

Oh, I thought the women were some of your fighters? So they are just karate students then? As far as being more effective, it is actually harmful to perform strength training techniques back to back on the same muscles, so I assume you work the upper body one day and the lower body the next?

I know, the reason for that is that we only have two women who train in that class. They drive 50 miles each way to take karate as well as the strength class. I mentioned this to them, and they said that those were the only two days they could get off work. The one has been with me for the last 3 years. In the last year, she has lost over 20 lbs by adjusting her diet and excersizing at both the dojo and home. I mentioned the workouts would be more successful if she took a day break in between. She said she couldn't adjust her schedule at work. The class is mainly there for her anyway.

Hey man, I just wanted to let you know, I checked out your website today and noticed that you had your two strength training days side by side. You may want to rethink that scheduling and possibly change the Tuesday class to a Monday strength training class. It's just a thought, but you're suppose to put a rest day in between strength training days!

Hiya. Just wanted to personally apologise for any offence my post may have made. My line on Australian vs American casualty statistics was out of line. I was corresponding with a mate at the time and in a larakin mood when I typed that. Wasn't born in Australia but I lark with the best of them. That doens't excuse the insensitivity of my comment however, so again I apologise.
