    I know the "warrior" history in Africa has some very deep seeded roots, i've heard that there are some people that still do that sort of thing over there, i would love to witness this sorta thing first hand

    I must confess ignorance in this area. What I do know about is the Stick Fighting. I've also seen some guys at it and you wouldn't want to mess with them.

    I dont know exactly but, i've heard that Africa has its kind of martial-art/self-defense, like the zulu warrior's, is this true?

    I think you're going to be disappointed here...I've been a practitioner of JJ for a whole 3 months!

    Having said that, a friend of mine used to say: "Don't worry about his black belt in <insert martial art here>, I've got a nose-ring in street fighting!"

    There are a couple of southern African countries but only one called the Republic of South Africa often only referred to as "South Africa". Have a look here if you're interested
