It doesn't have to be a pda yo know. All that you need is a cellphone with 3G or st least gprs capabilities. Then you need to donload the right application like the opera mini that enable you to surf the web as if you on a real desktop with small screen and a little modification of course.
All these might sound strange but not too difficult to a tech junky. I love gizmos and I always push every one that bought to its limit. Many poeple spent lots of money buying expensive gizmos but only use a fraction of its functions.

Yes, I do my surfing mostly on my pda now and use anothercheap phone for calls and text msg. I gotten quite good with the small screen now. It has quite a few advantages you know.
I don't have to fire up the computer that for sure. I can surf anytime I want to. That is a blessing really. I have to get on the half hour ferry ride daily to get to the school on an island where I teach. The pda is my constant companion. I am connected to facebookmobile constantly now.
