Just looked over my introduction posts and I realise I didn't answer your question about my chuan fa. Sorry but I have not used this term before. My kung fu training came from vietnamese friends and like many who fled the Vietcong during the Vietnam war, they had no paricular love for the Chinese. So they used Vietnamese words. Personally I rarely utilise language specific terminology as I believe some martial artists use terminology as a devisive tool (ie, you don't understand my terminology than I won't talk with you). I would probably forget them anyway. The only Chinese term I use is Chi Sao (hope I spelt that right) because asking someone to play with my sticky hands sounds a bit off.
